What I learnt:
  • How to set up sound equipment
  • How to help manage the camera and be in front of the camera
  • How to use props to help get into character
  • How to look for appropriate locations to give a realistic mood
  • How to learn a script.
Strengths:
  • How to set up the sound boom correctly
  • Setting up equipment
  • Editing transitions were good
  • Work well together spite the sound lady arguing with everyone
  • Picking relevant footage to edit, we did well.
  • Picking locations for realism
  • Learning the script.
  • Picking up roles quickly
  • Mise en scene was good: props- bag
  • Good team management
  • Knowing each other strengths and weaknesses e.g. switching roles if one is stronger at that role
Weaknesses:
  • Misunderstanding
  • Time; not enough time to film as needed
  • The amount of footage to pick from
  • Sound
  • Focus at the start of shooting the film
  • Editing
  • Lack of Knowledge for editing software.
  • Research
